About Us

In 1974, Jim Rathbun decided to make scoops as gag Christmas gifts for clients. The response that he received was overwhelming, with friends, clients, and breeders requesting he make this "necessary item" for them. With more than 40 years of experience as a professional dog handler and breeder, Jim realized there was a need for durable products at a reasonable price that dog owners could use with confidence.  Since our inception the business has grown rapidly and is currently owned and operated by Jim's daughter Tricia and grandson Ian.   

This is how Dunwishin Enterprises LLC was founded.

Since then, Jim has developed a number of designs in various areas of pet products and supplies that ensure the comfort and safety of your pet. Starting out as a part-time job, our business now encompasses a 14,000-square-foot facility mass producing the best quality and durability products for affordable prices. All of our products are made in the USA with American-made components that are cut, sewn and fabricated inside our South Carolina warehouse and shipped to your door.
